Every year, La Dogana hosts Yoga retreats on it’s beautiful 100 acre olive grove estate called Dogana overlooking the lake. Mixing yoga and Italian activities gives guests a unique experience they will not forget. Just picture yourself starting your morning in downward dog in the rolling hills of Italy on a beautiful Italian morning.
After breakfast, a day of adventure awaits with a city tour where you can shop, eat, and explore your way around an old city. Or maybe go hiking in the Tuscan hills or enjoy a massage at the venue. 6 Nights Accommodation
6 nights accommodation in a quaint Italian countryside apartment.

However it always depends on the teacher’s bundle: some of our retreats include all lunches but not excursions or there may be different food experiences from the one above stated. When you fill the form of the retreat you would like to attend you will receive by email all the details and what is included of the selected retreat. At the end of this page you find all retreats dates and link to their forms.
Where are you staying
Our family venue
La Dogana is a family run historical estate looking to the Trasimeno lake, set amongst 4,000 olive trees that produce every year our delicious organic olive oil. It is formed by the one building the lake house with 11 apartments and the coach house an independent hour at 300 meters distance.
Nine apartments are formed by two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds, one bathroom, one living-room and one kitchenette. The last two apartments are with one bedroom with double bed, one living room, kitchenette and bathroom.
Each apartment has an Italian coffee maker moka (click here to see how to use it), 100% natural and organic hand and body soap, shampoo and dishes soap, bathroom and swimming-pool towels, bedlinen.
Near the lake house you will find our facility house with inside a free washing machine with 100% natural soap, microwave, tea boiler, refrigerator with ice, different type of tea, instant coffee, sugar, olive oil, more toilet paper and swimming pool towels everything always for free for all our guests. We do not have a dry machine, each apartment has a clothing hanger to dry clothes at the sun.
On top of our hill at 500 meters from the lake house is situated our swimming-pool with a stunning view over the lake and its islands.
Our restaurant is the heart of the venue and it is where we will be prepare all your delicious meals every morning and night with farm to the table products. Our beautiful yoga studio is situated at the first floor of the restaurant and can fit 20 guests comfortably with yet again a gorgeous view, you will find manduka mats (4mm and 5mm), blankets, blocks, straps and pillows.
Today Lucia, with her beautiful team of 8 woman and Matteo the amazing gardener, runs the venue preserving the work of their ancestors and the beauty of its nature, Lucia is the fourth generation running the estate.
Who will host you
Lucia, Elisa & Lizzy
Lucia and all her team work over all inquiries emails, retreat structure organisation and will welcoming you at your arrival in the venues and will always be there for you. We will share together all the adventures and experiences of the retreats week.

Retreat Transfers & Policy
Private group transfers
Our bundles include private group transfers to and from either Florence (1.5 hours drive) or Rome airport (2.5 hours drive). It is up to the teacher to decide which airport will be chosen for the pick up and drop off. The transport used during the three town tours is also included in the bundle.
The meeting point with the rest of the group will be at the arrivals terminal which you will find upon exiting the baggage claim area. If you come to the meeting point from somewhere other than the plane on the meeting day just follow the signs for “arrivals” when you get to the airport.
The transfer driver will have a sign that says: “Yoga Retreat – Dogana”.
The checkout and departure from the venue back to the airport is always at 9.30 am.
Any other type of transfer is an extra cost to be paid by the clients and cannot be discounted from the cost of the bundle. If you need an early departure we can arrange it for you and you will be charged for this accordingly.
Payments & Policy

- A non refundable reservation fee of 30% on the total bundle price is required to book your spot. This can be paid with credit card or PayPal.
- The final payment is due one month from the retreat check-in.
- We recommend to purchase a travel insurance that can refund you in case you had to cancel your attendance.
- Airfare is not included as well as any other extra transfer excluded from the ones in the package.
- Minimum group number 12 guests (if any, instructor excluded).
