A full immersion into the most quintessential part of Tuscany: the Val d’Orcia! Following a picturesque drive through the iconic rolling hills of Tuscany this tour takes you to the two splendid hill towns of Pienza and Montepulciano stopping along the way for a decadent wine tasting of a prize winning selection of wines at a 700 year old wine cellar.Â
The tour starts with a one hour guided tour of Pienza including a tasting of four traditional local Pecorino cheeses for which the town is famous. After one hour and a half of free time to shop and have lunch you will move on to a nearby village for a winery visit where the producer will give you a tasting of four wines.
After an hour spent at the winery you will move on to Montepulciano for another tour of the town’s highlights such as the gorgeous 16th century palazzos followed by some free time to shop in the various artisanal shops.
